The 16th annual Lewisburg Chocolate Festival was a heavily-attended event despite cold weather conditions last Saturday. Tickets were sold out as usual as crowds gathered downtown to sample a variety of chocolate goodies from area vendors. This festival is a fundraiser for the United Way of Greenbrier Valley, which responds to the needs of Greenbrier, Monroe, and Pocahontas Counties in the areas of health, education, and basic needs.
“Thank you to everyone who attended, all of our volunteers, the city of Lewisburg, our generous sponsors, our downtown merchants who always work so hard to offer delicious tastings, all of our performers and media, the list goes on,” said the United Way in a social media post. “Each of you graciously helped us raise money for the United Way of the Greenbrier Valley. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank YOU for making the Lewisburg Chocolate Festival a sweet success!!”
