Subsequent to an investigation conducted by members of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department, a search warrant was obtained for a residence located in Charmco, WV. The search warrant was executed on Wednesday, Jan. 24, and officers seized a large amount of methamphetamine, fentanyl and multiple other suspected controlled substances, as well as a large amount of U.S. Currency.
James Matthew Walkup, 47, of Charmco, was arrested and charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and was incarcerated in the Southern Regional Jail.
Members of the WV State Police Rainelle Detachment assisted in the search of the home.
