On Oct. 23, the Rhema Christian Church in Lewisburg began hosting a new Celebrate Recovery Meeting open to the public. The meetings will be weekly and continue for one year. The meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. and is for adults only.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-Centered program designed to assist people with their “hurts, habits and hang-ups.” The program is designed to foster all kinds of healing for a myriad of issues including alcoholism, drug addiction, co-dependency, unhealthy relationships, gambling, food addiction, anger issues, divorce recovery, grief, etc.
Celebrate Recovery started at Saddleback Church in California under the leadership of Rick Warren and has been changing the lives of people for over 23 years. John Baker wrote the curriculum which has proven to have a life changing impact on thousands of people world-wide.
