White Sulphur Springs-Carl Edgar Perry, 82, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea following an extended illness.
Mr. Perry was born Dec. 29, 1936, in White Sulphur Springs, the son of the late Therian London and Macie Pansy Perry.
He was of the protestant faith, a member of the Rainelle Moose Lodge and retired from The Greenbrier Hotel having worked on the golf course and boiler room.
Surviving are his son, Garry Perry and wife Charlotte of White Sulphur Springs; daughters, Sandra Morgan of Ronceverte and Rhoda Perry of White Sulphur Springs; his help mate, Linda Sue Brie; his grandchildren, Christian Simpson, Anthony Perry, Alexandra Honaker, Hunter Morgan and Damien Perry; and great-grandchildren, Aubrie Honaker, Wyatt Honaker, Elijah Simpson and Aaron Simpson.
The family received their family and friends Tuesday evening, Aug. 6, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs. A service followed where Pastor Bobby Singleton officiated.
Following the service, he was cremated.
