A cake auction was held at the Greenbrier Board of Realtors meeting on Thursday, Nov. 20, for the “Feed the Need” Food Drive. Thanks to Terri Baker, Realtor, Home Style Realty & Design for making an assortment of homemade cakes and pies, and to Terry McClung at Food & Friends Restaurant, for making the peanut butter fudge to be auctioned during the meeting. As in previous years, this auction is always a big success.
The desserts auctioned were: Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie, Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge, Cheese Cake, Coconut Patience Cake, Applesauce Cake, Chocolate Texas Sheet Cake, Peanut Butter on Peanut Butter Sheet Cake and Pineapple Upside Down Cake.
The cake auction brought $845 for the GVBOR “Feed the Need” food drive. All proceeds go to Feed the Need.
