It has come to our attention that some individuals are posing as employees of the Assessor’s Office and requesting access to the interior of resident’s homes only to later return to perform theft.
Please note Deputy Appraisers will never ask to access the interior of resident’s homes. Also, each Deputy Assessor will have proper identification and will be in clearly marked county vehicles.
During this time of the Coronavirus the Assessor’s Office has temporarily suspended our field appraisal work. We will notify the public when we will begin our field appraisal work along with the districts we will be reviewing for 2020.
