On Saturday, Oct. 21, the Build Your Park and Keep It Running 5K run/walk starts at 8 a.m. at the WVSOM Student Center in Lewisburg.
Check in starts at 7:30 a.m. The registration cost on the day of the race is $30, but is only $5 for children age 5-11. Funds raised from the race will be allotted to renovate Dorie Miller Park. Gift cards will be given to first, second, and third place winners, and commemorative tee shirts will be available. Face painting and other activities will also be part of the fun.
