Briergarten will welcome the community to its fifth annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, Sept. 20, from noon to 7 p.m. The event will feature traditional German food, European and West Virginia craft beverages, live music, and activities for all ages.
Guests will be able to enjoy bratwurst, Bavarian pretzels, and other German specialties, along with local pours from Hawk Knob and Greenbrier Valley Brewing Co. A selection of German and European beers will also be available on tap.
Entertainment throughout the day will include live music from Dem Donkey Boys, keg curling contests for both adults and children, German bingo, and roaming stilt walker and balloon artist. A designated children’s zone will also be located on the Ascend patio, ensuring activities are available for younger attendees.
“Oktoberfest at Briergarten has become a tradition our community looks forward to every fall,” says Josh Baldwin, one of the restaurant’s owners. “It’s an opportunity for locals and visitors alike to get together on a beautiful fall day in a family-friendly environment and enjoy live music, food and drink, and more.”
