Parent Support Group meeting changed
The Parent Support Group meeting slated last week has been rescheduled for Sunday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m. at Robert C. Byrd Clinic, in the East Wing waiting room. The guest speaker will be Stephanie Ludle from the West Virginia Parent Training and Information Center in Clarksburg. Her topic will be “Basic Rights for Parents – First Step.” Everyone is invited to attend this very important meeting.
FOTSC meeting postponed
Friends of THE Second Creek, Inc. (FOTSC) canceled their quarterly meeting on Jan. 17 due to inclement weather. The quarterly January meeting has been rescheduled for Sunday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m. and will be held at Reed-Hoke Haus, Second Creek. Please call 304-645-4229 if you have questions.

WSS Public Library Book Sale
Calling all bargain book lovers! The White Sulphur Springs Public Library will host a book sale, made possible through generous contributions from the community, Saturday, Jan. 23, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Discover children’s books, vintage books, barely used best-sellers and more. Shooting Match in Williamsburg
Williamsburg Ruritan Club will hold its Shooting Match at the Williamsburg Community building on Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. Match is 8 rounds 12 gauge guns only – full choke (.660 inch) Seven rounds at $2 per shot. Eighth round 50/50 at $5 per shot. You must compete in all initial seven rounds to qualify for Round 8. Cash prizes awarded. Food and refreshments available. Sponsored by Williamsburg Ruritan Club. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Support Group
meets once a month, usually around the last Tuesday. The group is open to all who have MS and also family and friends. Medical students and such are welcome. There is no charge or fees to join.
