AHMH’s January schedule
Tuesday night Jam Sessions at the American Heritage Music Hall (AHMH) at Island Park, 315 Monroe Avenue, Ronceverte, are planned for Jan. 6, 13, 20 and 27, from 7 to 10/10:30 p.m. each evening. Doors open at 6, music starts at 7 p.m. Admission: Tuesdays $7 each; dance night $10 each. Wednesday, Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve – 8 p.m. to midnight – New Year’s Eve Dance will feature Bill Evans & The Night Riders. Admission includes food, coffee and soft drinks brought in by the audience and donated to the music hall to share with everyone. (Bring your favorite snack to share.) Elks Lodge New Year’s Eve party
Open to the community. Presenting the band: Switch – five bands in one, good time rock and more. Bring in the New Year’s with entertainment and friends at the Elks Lodge, 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., 843 Brush Road, Lewisburg. Upstairs Banquet Room Facility. Food: light appetizers; Drinks: Cash Bar. $50 per couple at door.
Caregiver Support Group
The Seasons in Lewisburg will hold a caregiver support group Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, at 5 p.m. The group is sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association. These groups are designed to provide emotional, educational and social support for caregivers. They help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems and encourage caregivers to maintain their own personal, physical and emotional health as well as optimally care for the person with dementia. Narconon
would like to remind families that the use of addicting drugs is on the rise, take steps to protect your family from drug use. AA meetings
are held at St. James Episcopal Church, 218 S. Court, Lewisburg at 7 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 12 noon.
NarAnon meetings
are held Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, 218 South Court Street, Lewisburg. NarAnon is a 12-step support group for persons effected by someone else’s addiction. Contact Susan at 304-646-6506 for questions.
Weekly Al-Anon meeting

The Bluefield Princeton area
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Support Group
meets once a month, usually around the last Tuesday. The group is open to all who have MS and also family and friends. Medical students and such are welcome. There is no charge or fees to join.
