Carnegie Hall’s “Fix the Bricks” fundraiser was a success. Director of Development Alissa Novoselick says she is delighted to report that the fundraiser exceeded the goal of $100,000 in order to fix the exterior bricks of Carnegie Hall, thanks to the generous donations from local, state and national supporters.
While the “Fix the Bricks’” campaign has come to an end, Novoselick still encourages people to make end of the year donations as NIP tax credits are available for all donations, and the need for sustained giving to the arts will help fill the need for funding programs, education and other building projects.
Upcoming performances at Carnegie Hall include Tom Hambridge and Friends on Jan. 23; Chris Brubeck’s Triple Play on Feb. 13; The Celtic Tenors on Mar. 17; Fatoumata Diawara on Apr. 10 and Jayme Stone’s Lomax Project on May 2.
