Renick-Brenda Sue Cohernour, 66, passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019, at her home.
Born July 31, 1953, at Marlinton, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Launa Marie Crane Barkley.
Brenda loved going to the flea markets. She often attended the flea markets at Fairlea, Pence Springs, and Roanoke, VA. She had worked at Kellwood for a while then becoming a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Phyllis Poage Barkley; sisters, Phyllis Cox and Teresa Johnston; and niece, Launa Barkley.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Ronald Cohernour; brothers, Ricky Barkley (Ollie) of Marlinton, David and Brian Barkley of Renick, and Scott Barkley (Melissa) also of Renick; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, where nephews Caleb and Joshua Barkley officiated.
Burial was in the McMillion Cemetery, Friars Hill.
Visitation was one hour prior to the service, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
