Alvon-Bobby Glenn Clendenin, 80, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, at Ruby Memorial in Morgantown.
Born Aug. 29, 1940, in Creighton, WV, he was the son of the late Floyd Leo and Winona Mae Heckert Clendenin.
Bob was an avid hunter, and fisherman. He loved driving his old Ford pickup truck, and riding his motorcycle. He worked for The Greenbrier Hotel as a Plumber for 25 years before he retired.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lockhart Clendenin in 2014; and siblings, Eloise Clendenin, and Gary Clendenin.
Survivors include his children, Kim Boggs and husband Fred of Exchange, WV, and Jeff Clendenin of White Sulphur Springs; sisters, Joyce “Sissy” Conner and husband Hunter of Clifton Forge, VA, Jenny Perry of Fairlea, Sue Garner of Tega Cay, SC; brothers, Charles “Chuck” Clendenin of White Sulphur Springs, Roger Clendenin and wife Joyce of Caldwell, Billy Clendenin of Alvon, and Allen Clendenin and wife Bonnie of Rustburg, VA; three grandchildren, Trey Crane, Cassie Crane both of Burnsville, WV, and Alice Clendenin of Lewisburg; one very special great-grandson, Ian Crane of Burnsville, WV; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, Feb. 1, at 1 p.m. at Little Creek Cemetery in Alvon, with Pastor Lowell O’Dell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, family request donations of sympathy are made to a Charity of choice in Bobby’s memory.
