On Oct. 22, the Monroe County Animal League will hold their Annual Auction and Dinner in the Lindside United Methodist Church Community Center. Doors will open and dinner will be served starting at 3 p.m. This year’s fare will include soup, sandwich, dessert and drink for a donation.
The event will include the popular balloon raffle, a silent auction, and a live auction beginning at 5 p.m. The balloon raffle will run from 4-4:45 p.m. The silent auction will run concurrently with other activities during the afternoon and evening, from 3-6:30 p.m.
There will be a fine selection of auction items including art, jewelry, Vera Bradley and Dooney & Bourke bags, pet items, Walt Disney World passes, certificates for services and outdoor activities such as whitewater rafting and golf, handcrafted treasures, home décor, housewares, books and much more.
Volunteer auctioneers include Allen Crawford, Wes Crawford, Coy Archer, Marion Bradley, and Bill Rose.
