ESPN analysts, the NBC Super Bowl crew, former coaches and players, dolphins, tigers, elephants and even a kangaroo made their predictions for Super Bowl LX over the course of the last week. None came as close as West Virginia’s favorite dog.
Near the end a news conference earlier this week, Babydog, the English Bulldog owned by U.S Senator Jim Justice and his family, made her prediction. Holding Babydog in his lap and a white board in the other hand, Justice displayed the score prediction that read, Seahawks 28, Patriots 13. Seattle ended up winning 29-13, one point off of Babydog’s prediction.
What’s even more amazing is that the accuracy of the 60-pound, 6-year-old bulldog wasn’t a one-time phenomenon. Babydog first started making Super Bowl picks in 2021 and is now 4-1 in predicting the big game.
Babydog has become a national celebrity, known for her big smile and her love for chicken nuggets. She appears with Justice at events across the country, including the Republican National Convention and on national television shows. Fans, journalists and politicians all attended her sixth birthday party in October, held in the Hart Senate Office Building.
