Join the West Virginia Food and Farm Coalition’s Meat Working Group and the Value Chain Cluster Initiative in Summersville on Monday, Mar. 28, for the fourth and final training in their Niche Meat Training Series.
The day-long, interactive training will provide information that will assist participants in expanding into new markets through on-farm rabbit, poultry, and egg production and processing. Participants will learn about the WV Department of Agriculture’s Mobile Processing Unit, egg production and on-farm rabbit and poultry processing. There will also be a live demonstration of rabbit and poultry processing techniques using the Mobile Processing Unit.
