Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council in partnership with BB&T West Virginia Foundation, celebrated high achievers from the southeastern area of the council at a recognition event that was held on June 13 at the Church of God Family Worship Center in Beckley. Girl Scouts who were honored at the event consisted of graduating high school seniors and top cookie sellers who sold 1,000 boxes or more during the 2015 Girl Scout Cookie Sale program.
Celebrated at the event were local graduating senior Girl Scouts Erica Aldridge, Lewisburg – Bailey Callison, Renick – Jamey Callison, Renick; Ella Essig-Beatty, Lewisburg; and Krystal Hughes, Caldwell.
GSBDC would like to acknowledge BB&T WV Foundation as the sole benefactor of these ceremonies and thank them for their investment in girls.
