The General Andrew Lewis Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution held their April 2024 meeting in the charming home of former Regent, Deborah Phillips. Marit Withrow was her co-hostess.
This Spring Gathering was opened by Regent Suzanne Cronquist with the Pledge of Allegiance and the DAR Ritual which was led by Chaplain, Beverly Boswell. Regent Cronquist reported on the DAR state conference where the General Andrew Lewis Chapter received Five Certificates of Achievement. A business meeting followed.
Hostesses Phillips and Withrow served a delicious luncheon which was enjoyed by everyone as those who had attended the WV State DAR Conference gave a report on the programs. A highlight of the conference was visiting the cabin of Morgan Morgan and a memorial service in the Morgan Morgan Chapel.
