Set for this Saturday, Oct. 25, at Alderson City Park is the Alderson Volunteer Fire Department and EMS Fall Fling Fundraiser from 5 to 9 p.m. Gates open at 4 p.m. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of entertainment, food, and fun!
There will be performances by Jack and Davis Reid as well as Tupelo Drive. Jack and Davis Reid are the sons of Wilson Fairchild and grandsons of the Statler Brothers, Don and Harold Reid. Tupelo Drive is a local band blending genres and style from rock, country, and blues and features Brandon Laxton and Devin Johnson. Tupelo Drive starts at 5 p.m., and Jack and Davis Reid start at 6 p.m.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for kids aged 6 through 9. There is no vehicle traffic allowed in the park, tractor trolleys will pick visitors up from designated parking areas around town and transport them to the field. Food vendors will be set up at the field, as well.
