The Alderson Hospitality House, located in Alderson, is a nonprofit bed and breakfast facility serving those family and friends who are visiting women incarcerated at the Federal Prison Camp in Alderson.
But on Oct. 30, 31 and Nov. 1 the House turns into a truly Haunted House for a Holiday of Horrors – 12 Months of Terror!!! This is the annual fund raiser to support the work of the House and provide fun and scares for all. A scary tour of the House will provide frightening surprises and spooky happenings. This year’s event is bigger and better than ever.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for kids under 12 and not recommended for kids under 7 years of age. Hours are 7-9 p.m. Across the street from the House is a “scare-free” and admission free park with fun events for the kids and the whole family while you tour the house. For more information call 304-445-2980.
The Alderson Hospitality House provides temporary housing and meals to those visiting the Federal Prison Camp year round. Visitors come from all across the country to visit family members and the services of the House often make their trips easier and less stressful. We hope all will come out to support this important work and have fun in a Halloween tradition.
