The FBI and WV Homeland Security will host an active shooter training on Monday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Ronceverte Presbyterian Church. All area churches and nonprofits are welcome to attend. There is no cost. Pre-registration is required. Visit www.RoncevertePres.org and click on the Active Shooter Training Registration link. (It’s at the top of the webpage in bold letters and takes you to the registration.) This is the only training session in southern West Virginia, so all neighboring counties are invited to attend.
“Please help us spread the word to churches and non-profits about this opportunity,” said Rev. Stephen Baldwin, Pastor at Ronceverte Presbyterian Church. “We are honored to host this important opportunity to improve community safety.”
