Carl William Summers

Carl William Summers McClung, 90, of White Sulphur Springs passed away on Dec. 4, 2025, at Genesis Healthcare Center in White Sulphur Springs.
Born on Mar. 30, 1935, he was the son of the late Arthur William and Odessa Grey Childers McClung of White Sulphur Springs.
Carl was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and was a United States Air Force and United States Army Reserve Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Jean Hayes McClung.
Carl was a school bus driver and State Road employee among other jobs during his lifetime.
Survivors include his son, Scott McClung and wife Debbie of White Sulphur Springs and his daughter Debbie Hall and husband Gerald of Elkton, VA.
Funeral service will be at 12 noon on Monday, Dec. 8, with Pastor Lowell O’Dell officiating. Burial will follow in Little Creek Cemetery.
