Why he plays Golf: “It’s my passion and it is what I want to do in my future. I also find it relaxing.
Coach’s Comments: “2X First Team All-State. WOW! Isaac tied a school record by becoming the second to be a 2x First Team All-State Golfer. (Jeff Bostic) Now, sit back and listen to what he does in the “off season.” Isaac won the Callaway Junior Tour Championships (Age Group and Overall Low Round). He won the Calloway Junior events at Pipestem, Berry Hills, and Lewisburg Elks Club. SHOUT OUT to Lewisburg Elks for their unending loyalty to Isaac and the whole golf program. Isaac qualified for the West Virginia Amateur at The Greenbrier by coming in first at the Pipestem Qualifier. SHOUT OUT to Hill Herrick and The Greenbrier. They have been great to Isaac and the golf program forever. I have to post this because Isaac is too humble and he only thinks of the team. ‘Hutch’, or as I call him, ‘Clutch’, will continue to impress us with his work ethic and Character. Bottom Line: Isaac Hutchison is a GREAT person and promotes Greenbrier East with class and dignity.
Spartan Alumni Spotlight: Coach Jay Dyche. Coach Dyche is a household name in Greenbrier Valley. He has won more Team State Championships and has coached more Golfers at the State Championships than any other coach. And this is just a small aspect of his positive influence on so many student-athletes at Greenbrier East.
