The Greenbrier County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Aug. 27, to receive public comment on the Draft Comprehensive Plan update, which is available by visiting www.greenbriercounty.net, or print copies are available in local public libraries and at the Courthouse.
The public hearing will be held on Aug. 27, beginning at 3 p.m. in the Greenbrier County Courthouse located at 912 Court Street N in Lewisburg. Written public comments regarding the Draft Comprehensive Plan may also be submitted in writing to: The Greenbrier County Planning Commission, 912 Court St. N., Lewisburg, WV 24901.
The Comprehensive Plan is our community’s expression of its goals and aspirations with regard to land use patterns and community assets. Greenbrier County last updated its Comprehensive Plan in October of 2014.
Following the public input process, the Greenbrier County Planning Commission will consider whether to recommend adoption of the Comprehensive Plan to the Greenbrier County Commission, which will also conduct a separate public hearing on the matter.
