Brett Maxwell DeHaven, 67, of West Palm Beach, FL, originally from White Sulphur Springs, passed away from natural causes on July 27, 2025.
Brett, like many of his siblings was great at fixing things, building, drawing and painting, bicycling, and was a talented pastry chef.
Coming from a family of 11 children all raised in White Sulphur Springs, Brett was born Nov. 5, 1957, he is survived by 8 siblings, sister Shane Dunkle of Los Altos, CA, Dean DeHaven of Boston, MA, Dr. James DeHaven of Lewisburg, WV, Geoffrey DeHaven of Ronceverte, WV, Mark DeHaven of Lewisburg, WV, Kevin DeHaven of LaPlata, MD, Joel DeHaven of Dover, DE, Brian DeHaven of Fairmont, WV, along with numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his oldest brother Vance DeHaven and brother Larry DeHaven and parents Eugene and Una Margaret DeHaven.
The family plans to have a private service later in the month.
