Wellspring of Greenbrier is excited to update our community on the progress we’ve made in our new building at 223 Main Street in Rainelle!
After a whirlwind June of moving AND continuing to provide services till our very last day in the Rupert building, we are now getting settled in our new location. We feel fortunate to now have double the operating space with enough room for our growing community.
In July, we began planning for and executing some of the work needed to get our operations underway. Our programs will include:
- Choice Model Food Pantry: Our neighbors can select which items are most needed for their families, including canned goods, fresh fruits and vegetables, locally made bread, and more.
- Day Haven: Hot coffee and snacks, TV, Wi-Fi, laundry and shower services, and a safe environment for anyone in need.
- Meal Distribution: Healthy, homemade meals made possible by our volunteers and community partners, eat-in or takeout.
- Healthcare Advocacy: Access to nurse-led education, health resources, and community referrals with an individualized approach.
Wellspring of Greenbrier is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on the generosity of donors, and all services are entirely free of charge to our neighbors. We accept donations online at www.wellspringofgreenbrier.org/donate.
We have also created a wish list on Amazon of items we need for our new space. You can find it at this link: https://tinyurl.com/2ckmvhsv.
We look forward to keeping the community updated on our progress. Until then, stay tuned for our reopening dates this fall and mark your calendars for our Health and Resource Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
See you soon!
The Wellspring Team
