Kathleen H. Smith, age 98, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Batavia, OH.
She was born Mar. 21, 1927, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Bernard E. Hogue and Louise Hogue.
She grew up in Wisconsin and taught school in Door Co., WI. She had lived in Lewisburg since the 80’s and volunteered at The Americana Thrift Store for many years and attended Old Stone Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her daughter Jessica Jane (Smith) Housley and son-in-law Joe Housley of Batavia, OH; stepson Russell Ross Smith; and sister Sharon Smith of Homosassa, FL.
She was married to Lt. Col. Robert Ross Smith (Ret. U.S. Army) who passed away in 1989.
