VFW Children’s Christmas Party
VFW John Page Post 4484 and the Ladies Auxiliary will hold its annual Children’s Christmas Party, Saturday, Dec. 20, from 12 noon to 3 p.m., at the Post Home, 401 Main Street, Rainelle. All children, infant to 10 years, are invited to come by and visit with Santa and his helpers, have story time with Mrs. Claus, and make an ornament to take home and place on the Family Christmas tree. Band of Hope Baptist Church
will have their annual Christmas program Saturday, Dec. 20 at 6 p.m., weather permitting. Church is located near Friars Hill (1 mile up Leonard Cordova Road). Everyone is welcome.
Graystone Baptist Church
will present its Christmas cantata “Hark the Angels Sing” written by Dennis and Nan Allen on Sunday evening, Dec. 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the church. The musical is about the birth of Jesus our Savior through the watchful and anticipating eyes of angels. Pastor Youel Altizer and the congregation welcome the community to join them in this celebration of the Jesus’ birth. Graystone Baptist Church is located at 249 Skylar Drive, Lewisburg. The Choirs of Greenbrier East High School
will present their full Winter Choir Concert on Monday, Dec. 22, at 7 p.m. Concert will be held at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church. Admission is free but donations will be gladly accepted.
Ronceverte Baptist Church
will hold a candlelight service on Christmas Eve at 6 p.m. Pastor Andy Howdock and the congregation invite everyone to celebrate our Savior’s birth by joining with us at the concert, the candlelight service and other regularly scheduled worship services. Ronceverte Baptist Church is located at the corner of Main and Locust Streets.
