The bricks of Lewisburg’s international treasure Carnegie Hall are crumbling and in need of repointing.
Director of Development Alissa Novoselick says, “Carnegie Hall needs to repair at least 20 percent of the outside bricks to preserve the structural integrity and historical significance of the hall.
For over a century, donors are the reason Carnegie Hall is able to achieve its mission of presenting and promoting quality artistic performances and exhibitions in rural West Virginia succeeds.
For every $25 donation, one exterior brick can be restored. Donors will receive special recognition via social networks, press releases and the Carnegie Hall website. Carnegie Hall is a nonprofit and donations are tax deductible.
Donations may be made on the website www.CarnegieHallWV.com or by mail to “Fix the Bricks,” Carnegie Hall, 105 Church Street, Lewisburg, WV 24901. For more information, contact Novoselick at 304-645-7917.
