Hestie was a long-time resident of White Sulphur Springs where she lived since leaving her childhood home in Caldwell. She graduated from White Sulphur Springs High School and worked at The Greenbrier Hotel her entire life until her retirement. Hestie attended the Penticostal Holiness Church of White Sulphur Springs where she always talked about how wonderful and caring their members were to her.
She liked to cook, visit yard sales on the weekends and was an avid reader. She loved traveling when the opportunity arose. Her heart and love always went out to others before herself, which she will be forever remembered for, along with her big blue eyes and beautiful smile.
There will be no memorial services upon her request. Memorial donations may be made to the Peyton Hospice House at 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
