During the Time Out for Applause segment of the January Greenbrier County Board of Education meeting, they celebrated several newly certified National Board Certified Teachers: Jessica Bailey of Ronceverte Elementary School, Holly Gore of Alderson Elementary School, Holly Ridpath of Ronceverte Elementary School, and Melinda Smith of Greenbrier East High School.
These four teachers are part of an incredible network of 23 educators in our school system, 1,218 educators in West Virginia, and over 130,000 nationwide. The West Virginia Department of Education will honor their achievement at a special event on Mar. 11 at the Culture Center in Charleston.
