Alfred Thornton Braden, Jr., 69, of White Sulphur Springs passed away on Nov. 14, 2024, at CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.
Alfred was born Mar. 12, 1955, in White Sulphur Springs, the son of the late Alfred T. and Ruth Waid Braden, Sr.
He had a love for the outdoors, enjoyed hunting and fishing. Alfred enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He mastered in carpentry and enjoyed woodwork, was a genius in mathematics.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Heather Braden.
Those left to cherish his memory are his ex-spouse Cindy Braden, mother to his children of Hendersonville, NC; son Christopher Uriah Braden of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter Maya Elizabeth Braden; brother Edward F. Braden (Rebecca Lynn) of Gap Mills, WV, nieces and nephew, Melody Braden, Mindy Edmond (Tyler) and Ezra Braden.
Alfred’s wishes were to be cremated with a private family ceremony at a later date.
