Bernard Samuel Loudermilk
Hebron, OH-Bernard Samuel Loudermilk, 83, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014. He was born Oct. 19, 1931, in Clintonville, WV.
After 44 years, he retired from North American Rockwell in Newark, OH. He had bird feeders, was an avid gardener and especially enjoyed growing tomatoes and flowers. He rescued a stray kitten called Tom that followed him everywhere. He regularly attended church and enjoyed studying the Old Testament.
He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Emory Loudermilk and mother, Luella Cloe (Hayslette) Loudermilk; two brothers, Clayton and James Loudermilk; and sister-in-law, Rosie (Gregg) Loudermilk.
He is survived by: his wife of 63 years, Betty (Livesay) Loudermilk; son, Clayton (Vivian) Loudermilk of Flemington, WV; two daughters, Linda Loudermilk of Columbus, OH and Carol (Greg) Grubaugh of Fredericktown, OH; granddaughter, Kimberly (Vincent) Baldwin; great-grandson, Jacob Baldwin; step-grandson, Eric Evans and his children Caleb, Alexzandria and Kyndal; step-granddaughters, Miranda and her son Carter and Miriah Grubaugh; and brother, Clifton Loudermilk; sisters-in-law, Marie Loudermilk, Donna Livesay and Doris Livesay.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home in Newark.
