On Monday, Nov. 4, the public will find the Greenbrier Valley Visitor’s Center a focus of activity as the Greenbrier Valley-Alderson Quilt Guild (previously known as the Alderson Quilt Guild) assembles the November quilt show. Many of the large quilts will be for sale as well as baby quilts, smaller quilted items and Christmas tree ornaments.
The Guild will also display its annual raffle quilt, “Summer Explosion,”and a Quilt of Valor, throughout the month. You won’t want to miss this much anticipated show. Funds from the raffle quilt help to support Guild projects and special contributions for the community.
At a recent meeting, the Guild approved a $100 donation to Penny Pitch and a $250 donation to the Edgewood Presbyterian Church for their Saturday of Service.
