On Friday Oct. 4, the Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company (GVBC) will host their First Year Bash at the Brewery from 1 to 10 p.m. to celebrate one year of GVBC being back in business. Community support has been instrumental in our comeback with Josh Bennett at the helm. We would love for the community to come celebrate with us the resurgence of GVBC!
During the event we will be releasing a new small batch beer called Apple-Atcha Honey’d Apple Ale. This is our take on a mountain classic ale. This small batch beer features a few twists. 51% of the grain bill is a traditional Ale base, then we added five gallons of Lobelia, West Virginia Wildflower Honey and 10 gallons of Hawk Knob fresh pressed apple juice. We finished off the beer with a blend of huel melon and mandarina bavaria hops. This ale has a 6.0 ABV and a 18.6 IBU, and is only releasing on draft for now in the Taproom.
The live music lineup and times includes Will Sarver from 3 to 6 p.m., and karaoke with The Dubee Bros from 7 to 10 p.m.
Food will be available from The Taco Spot, and Smooth Ambler will have the Whiskey Wagon on site.
