Greenbrier Valley Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce will host a Small Business Resource Roundup on Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Country Roads Beer Company in White Sulphur Springs.
The open house style event is free and open to the public, offering entrepreneurs, small business owners, and community members a chance to explore valuable business resources available in the Greenbrier Valley.
“Both the EDC and the Chamber are both committed to supporting local businesses. We wanted to bring together businesses and the many resources available to them in one place,” said Ruthana Beezley, Executive Director of the Greenbrier Valley EDC. “We want to show that no matter where a business is in their development, there is likely a resource for them.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet local, regional, and state resource partners including: Greenbrier Valley EDC, Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce, WV Small Business Development Center, Partner Community Capital, WV Hive, WV Women’s Business Center, Region 1 Workforce Development Board, WV Department of Agriculture, USDA Rural Development, Woodlands Development & Lending, and the WV Secretary of State.
Office resource partners offer a variety of services for businesses looking to start or expand a business in our region including business planning and coaching, providing financing through loans or grants, training events, workforce programs, technical assistance funds, and more.
Resource partners can still sign up to attend the event by contacting the Greenbrier Valley EDC. Country Roads Beer Company is located at 697 Main Street East, White Sulphur Springs. Light refreshments will be offered; registration is recommended.
