The 2024 Freshwater Folk Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in White Sulphur Springs at the WSS National Fish Hatchery. Hosted by the friends of the White Sulphur Springs National Fish Hatchery, the festival is a fun and educational event with live music, a variety of food, and exhibits including fishing demonstrations, an observation beehive, and live animals including snakes, axolotls, fish, birds, and more.
Live music will be provided by Terrance Zimmerman, Nick Pennington, and Cody Wickline. Opening the festival is Terrence Zimmerman at 10 a.m., then Nick Pennington at 12 p.m. and Cody Wickline starting at 2 p.m.
Food trucks will be on-site with a selection of items, and new this year is the touch-a-truck event for the kids. This event will be held rain or shine.
