It was a glorious spring day for the Lewisburg House and Garden Club to meet for their monthly meeting and annual spring luncheon at Spring Valley Farm on Second Creek in Monroe County.  Don’t miss this home on the Greenbrier Valley Home and Garden Tour.  Hostesses were Jennifer Davis, Mary Beth Pack and Lynn Weikle.  The lunch is always potluck and everyone brought their favorite spring dish.  It was a sumptuous meal.

Jennifer Davis taught the group how to make a field flower arrangement.  It is designed so that the field of vision is not blocked across a dinner table.

In addition to the lovely lunch and flower arranging lesson, plans were finalized for the docents and flower arrangements at the homes for which the club is to be responsible on the Greenbrier Home and Garden Tour on Saturday, June 8 beginning at 10 a.m.

Jennifer Davis demonstrating the art of arranging a field centerpiece that doesn’t obstruct seeing the person across the table. It is so named to represent flowers growing in a field.
