The Greenbrier Valley Aquatic Center will host a holiday Open House this Saturday Dec. 9, from 2 to 6 p.m. During this event GVAC will be raffling off a free one-month membership which has been donated by one of their members. There will be facility tours and information stations set up during this time for those who been curious about GVAC.
When Pigs Fly BBQ will be on site and selling pulled pork sandwich meals with beans, coleslaw, potatoes, wings, and drinks (while supplies last). All proceeds from drink sales will go to the GVAC Sea Dragons swim team.
Santa will also be available for photos from 3 to 6 p.m. You can take your own photos with Santa or GVAC will print your photo for a donation to the facility. Day passes will also be sold all day, so bring your swimsuit and a towel.
This event is a great opportunity to support your community, meet new people, and perhaps find your new hobby.
