Ronceverte-Charles William O’Brien, 80, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023 at the Beckley VAMC.
Charles was born Aug. 12, 1943 in Painesville, OH, the son of the late Mike and Agnes Patton O’Brien.
He was of the Methodist Faith, a long haul truck driver and a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Army.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Dwight, who was killed in action during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his sister, Janet Dowdy (Jerry) of Stafford, VA; brother, Rodney O’Brien of Ronceverte; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Charles’ wishes were to be cremated with no services.
