Greenbrier Valley Grown will host an annual fall re-enrollment meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Wild Bean in downtown Lewisburg. The meeting will be potluck style, and participants are encouraged to bring a dish to share.
The fall re-enrollment meeting is designed for new and returning members to connect and network with others, learn about the milestones during the first full year of the program, and give feedback about the future direction of the program.
Greenbrier Valley Grown is a local certifying organization that certifies local farms, value-added producers, retail outlets, and food service establishments (i.e., restaurants or caterers) that grow or serve food that is grown in the Greenbrier Valley. They aim to bring consumers one step closer to the food on the table.
Anyone with a food production business or anyone interested in learning more about the Greenbrier Valley Grown program and how to get involved with any of their events throughout the year is invited to stop by the Wild Bean on Nov. 18.
