Tuesday night Jam Sessions at the American Heritage Music Hall (AHMH) at Island Park, 315 Monroe Avenue, Ronceverte, are set for Nov. 18, 25, Dec. 2, 9 and 16 from 7 to 10/10:30 p.m. Doors open at 6, music starts at 7 p.m. Admission: Tuesdays $7 each; dance night $10 each. Saturday Night Dance on Nov. 22 will feature Bill Evans & The Night Riders. Saturday Night Dance on Dec. 6 will feature High Country. Saturday Night Dance on Dec. 20 will feature Steele Country. Closed Tuesday, Dec. 23 and 30 for Christmas. Tuesday, Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve – 8 p.m. to midnight – New Year’s Eve Dance will feature Bill Evans & The Night Riders. Admission includes food, coffee and soft drinks brought in by the audience and donated to the music hall to share with everyone. (Bring your favorite snack to share.) Dollar Bag Sale
The Williamsburg Thrift Shop, WIlliamsburg, will hold a month long dollar bag sale – everything that can be put in a grocery bag for $1. The sale will run the entire month of November. The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The last day will be Nov. 29 when it will close for the winter. The shop is located in the Willliamsburg Community School Building. Shooting Match in Williamsburg
The Williamsburg Volunteer Rescue Squad will hold a shooting match on Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Williamsburg Community Center, Williamsburg, beginning at 7 p.m. Concessions will be available: hot dogs, barbecue, baked goods and more. There will be monetary prizes. 12 gauge shotguns only. $2 per shot, 8 rounds, last round 50/50 at $5 per shot. The event is sponsored by the Williamsburg Volunteer Rescue Squad. Public Community Meeting
Please join us for a public community meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Lindside United Methodist Church, Lindside. At the meeting, Greenbrier River Watershed Association Education and Outreach Coordinator, Elise Keaton, will present up-to-date pipeline information. Breast Cancer Support Group

Hunter Education classes
Sgt. Bob Johnson announces that hunter education classes will be held in Greenbrier County on Nov. 17, 18 and 19 from 6-9:30 p.m. each evening at the Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department. Turkey Dinner in Williamsburg
The Williamsburg Community Action will sponsor a Turkey Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. A traditional Thanksgiving Dinner will be served: turkey/dressing, fresh mashed potatoes/gravy, green beans, coleslaw, breads/rolls, desserts, tea/coffee. Mountain Transit Authority

Recycling bins
The City of Lewisburg is pleased to announce that four recycling bins for plastic bottles have been placed at Hollowell Park. All Lewisburg residents are encouraged to recycle. Recycling extends the life of our landfill, reduces long term sanitation costs, reduces raw material costs for new products we buy and keeps our environment cleaner.
