Get ready for a night of zings, jabs and unflinching honesty when one of today’s most outspoken comedians takes the Clay Center stage in An Evening with Bill Maher Live Stand-Up Tour on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
Television host, stand-up comedian, political commentator, author and actor – he’s done it all. Known for his sarcastic wit and no-holds-barred approach to controversial topics like politics, religion and foreign affairs, Maher will have the audience in stitches with thought-provoking humor that questions the status quo.
Host of HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” and the former Comedy Central series “Politically Incorrect,” Maher has appeared in a host of movies, television shows and his own comedy specials. In addition, he wrote and starred in the 2008 documentary “Religulous” and has written a number of best-sellers, including “Does Anybody Have a Problem with That? Politically Incorrect’s Greatest Hits” and “New Rules: Polite Musings from a Timid Observer.”
The performance is part of the Clay Center Presents Fall 2014 season sponsored by Bayer CropScience.
