Patricia Ann “Pat” Humphrey

White Sulphur Springs – Patricia Ann “Pat” Humphrey, returned home to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
Born Mar. 21, 1936 in Price Hill, WV, Pat was 87 years old.
Pat was a long-time member of the WSS Emmanuel United Methodist.
Pat was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Cecil Douglas “Bud” Humphrey; her parents, Manuel and Fredia Berezo; brother, Phillip Berezo, and sister, Fredia (Bootsie) Rollins.
Pat is survived by her daughters, Debra Ann Skaggs and Peggy Jean Boggs; her little chickadees, Kristi Gail Allen and Trish Lynn Tolliver; her most cherished great-grandchildren, Casey, Lindsey, Adeline and Everlea Tolliver, and Jaxzen and Bodie Allen; her sister, Joanie Humphrey; several nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Aside from being a homemaker, Pat previously worked at Hall’s Rexall and Cox’s in WSS, and The Greenbrier Hotel. She also worked at the WSS Public Library for many years. Pat enjoyed baking, cross-stitching, arts and crafts, and visiting with friends and family. Pat was proud of her numerous ribbons at the State Fair for baking, crafts, and cross stitch. All who knew Pat were blessed by her kindness and joy. Many will remember the elaborate holiday dinners she made for all of her family and friends. Mount Hope Mustangs will remember Pat from her youthful days as a popular cheerleader and the co-valedictorian of the class of 1954.
Through to her golden years Pat enjoyed babysitting, spoiling her great grandchildren, and volunteering at her church. Not a day went by where Pat didn’t demonstrate how much her beloved husband, daughters, granddaughters, and great-grandchildren meant to her.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, at Wallace & Wallce Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Steve Grimes officiating. Burial will be in Mapledale Cemetery with graveside rights immediately following. Family will receive visitors an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family is being served by Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, White Sulphur Springs, WV.
