The West Virginia Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus (WVACVB) awarded the Greenbrier County Convention & Visitors (CVB) accreditation for 2022-2025.
The WVACVB established the accreditation process to provide guidance to CVBs for best practices to promote and develop tourism in an organization’s area. The program also ensures that CVBs are properly utilizing visitors’ tax dollars.
“The Greenbrier County CVB earning its sixth accreditation is a true testament to the work performed by the staff,” said Mike Kidd, Chair of the Greenbrier County CVB Board of Directors. “Our CVB continues to be on the cutting edge of marketing to promote the Greenbrier Valley and a leader in tourism in West Virginia.”
The Greenbrier County CVB has received accreditation from the WVACVB since the program’s inception in 2006.
