White Sulphur Springs – Rose “Pearl” Graham Hilton, 92, formerly of Fort Lauderdale, FL, passed away peacefully in her home in White Sulphur Springs on Sunday, June 11, 2023.
Pearl, the eldest of seven children, was born July 26, 1930 in Covington, VA, to the late Bowling and Garnet Jane Ward Graham.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Hilton; her only son, William Edgar Hilton, her sister, Elizabeth Thompson, and her brothers, Burton Graham and Homer Graham.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Hilton (Mike Rich) of Caldwell; granddaughter, Catherine Rich (Arios Lozano) of Lewisburg; sister, Kathleen Cook of Dawson; brothers, William Graham of Covington, VA, and Albert Graham (Winnie) of Boynton Beach, FL; sister-in-law, Genevieve “Libby” Murray of White Sulphur Springs; and many caring nieces, nephews, and loving friends in Florida and West Virginia.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Kanawha Hospice Care, especially, Shauna and Mickie. They also thank the around the clock caregivers, Jennifer, Desiree, Linda and Connie who diligently cared for Pearl which allowed her to live in the comfort of her home.
Funeral service will be at 12 noon on Saturday, June 17, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapel in White Sulphur Springs, with Pastor Lowell O’Dell officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Saturday.
