The Rupert Public Library held their Art Show Reception on Saturday, Apr. 22. Entertainment was furnished by the Hidden Mountain Treasures band. While the band played wonderful music, we enjoyed viewing the art exhibits and deciding which painting was our favorite. Food prepared by the library trustees was enjoyed by all.
The blue-ribbon winners of the Rupert Public Library Art Show were: Watercolor category, Margaret Golden; Acrylics category, Misty Murray-Walkup; Oil category, Shelby Oreolt; Pastel category, Karen McClung; Mixed Media, Linda Connolly; and the Best of Show award went to Shelby Oreolt. The People’s Choice award was a three-way tie between Sharon Johnson, Debra Spence, and Doreen Alderman.
