Lee Street Studios in Lewisburg is holding a Studio Stash Sale on Friday, Jan. 20 and Saturday, Jan. 21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. After-Christmas “studio housecleaning” at Lee Street has uncovered many beautiful items which will be offered during this special sale to make room for new work. There will be original artwork, prints, and artist supplies, all on sale by the Lee Street studio artists.
On Friday, Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m., in conjunction with the stash sale, singer-songwriters Dale and Hannah Elwell and Matt Evans will present a concert at The Blackboard at Lee Street Studios. The charge for the concert is $10 at the door.
The Schoolhouse Gallery, which displays and sells work of all the studio artists, is open during the sale. It is located next to the former principal’s office at Lee Street Studios and is open every Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., year-round.
Lee Street Studios is a community of artists in working studios, creating, teaching, and exhibiting their art. The studios are housed in the historic building that was formerly the Lewisburg Elementary School, located at 232 Lee Street N, Lewisburg.
