Greenbrier Episcopal School is happy to announce that they have a new interactive playground that combines education and fun. Through community support GES students now get to play while they learn.
Four Season’s Tree Care Service and GES friends and family came together to build an interactive play area complete with climbing wall and sand pit.
“We could not have made this happen for our students without the hard work and dedication of the school community,” said Gretchen Graves, headmaster. “We are also so appreciative of Four Season’s Tree Care for coming out and doing a great job.”
Graves said that recess is more than play time. “When children are at play they are also learning,” she said. “Having the opportunity to let our students play and interact here adds toward their overall development.”
Greenbrier Episcopal School is an independent day school with an emphasis on the traditions and values of faith-based Episcopal education, with classes serving students in Nido (18-36 months) through Grade 8.
