In partnership with AmeriCorps, a national youth volunteerism organization, High Rocks has opened the application process for two half-year positions (March 2022 – August 2022) for both the Lee Street facility in Lewisburg as well as positions at their Hillsboro campus. For specific information on serving at The Hub, emails can be directed to keveney@highrocks.org. High Rocks operates both The Hub and Tech Express in Lewisburg. Tech Express is a program and a company which provides computer hardware and software repair and maintenance services, as well educational tutorials on computer use and repair. Tech Express employs area youth with adult supervision and training in order to give them valuable technical and business operational skills.
The Hub Cafe functions on a similar model, providing quality, affordable food to the community while training teens in marketable skills and knowledge relevant to the restaurant and hospitality industry.
